Rb25det into s13, im not getting any spark, the ecu isnt even putting out a signal. Ive checked everything at the ecu, its got all the grounds and ignition signals its suppost to get. The coils have both power and grounds to them. The only thing that i noticed was there was no signal into the ecu from the crank angle sensors when cranking the engine, which i believe would prevent the ecu from sending a spark signal. The only other thing that i noticed was when you unpluged, and pluged the CAS on the front of the engine with the ignition on it sounded like the fuel pump, and fuel pump realay were ingaging, are these systems somehow liked together to do this???? I also noticed that when the ignition is on, the injectors have power to both wires, is this normal????

Any help is greatly appreciated, ive been trying to get this thing running for a month now and im about to give up on it. Thanks!

I can't help much but I can confirm one thing without a signal from the ECU the CAS does not work properly I couldn't get mine to run then discovered that the CAS plug was not on all the way, pushed it on and wallah turned right over. Sorry I don't have anymore ideas

i know the cas is pluged in, im just not getting a signal into the ecu when im trying to crank it over. Maybe the cas is bad??? I dunno, im running out of ideas... This swap sucks...

Are the injectors firing? Check to see if your getting fuel in the cylinders... Double check your wiringCheck and make sure your ecu is plugged in properly. This might be stupid but is the ingnition harness grounded?

I believe the injectors are firing because i can smell fuel. I spend about 4 hours going over my wiring and i cant find any mistakes. The harness is pluged into the ecu good, the ecu just isnt bolted down. I just dont understand why the ecu isnt putting out a firing signal, and there is no signal going into the ecu from the cas.

A good way to check if your CAS is working is to take it off (leaving it plugged in), turn the key ON (not start), and manually rotate the CAS shaft. You should be able to hear your injectors fire. If not, then you have a bad CAS or bad CAS connection. For the wiring connection, check for continuity to the ECU. If there is continuity, then the CAS must be bad.

Also, how do you know that you're not getting spark? Do you have the plugs gapped properly? Just trying to eliminate the easy things first, not trying to insult your intelligence or anything.

Thats a good idea, i will try that out, i know that im not getting spark because i checked for signal at the ecu with a test light, and there was nothing. Same for CAS into the ecu, there was no signal. Thats why i am assuming there is no spark.
