rb25 wont idle with tps unplugged?

im trying to time my rb25 swapped s13 and unplugging the tps is part of the proccess. ive been having cut out problems and i wanted to check if timing is the cause. what should keep the car idling without the tps? maf and o2 sensor i think, but i have a maf from a frineds old running car and a brand new o2
