I'm having problems with these new injectors I've got and wanted to see if anyone else has had these problems or knows how to fix it and save me and carl the stress.

I bought some 680cc injectors and a rail from a guy in au. Had a good friend of mine wire in a resistor pack from a honda. The car still runs like a** miss fires constantly like there is a vaccume leak but pulls 20 inches. I'm sure its something to do with the injectors. I'm running a nistune system and the car just reads 10:1 or less afrs all the time while driving and wont idle past 13:1 with out missing like crazy

did you tune the engine for the bigger injectors? /removing fuel?

ive tried changing the latency and nothing makes it stop missing

are you sure your injector seals are not leaking? are they the correct seals / o-rings for your injectors?

i would suspect it is more the tune than a vacuum leak though

yeah i know there not leaking i think its something to do with the resistance. I've sprayed starting fluid around the injectors and the idle doesnt change. I think its just the fact that they are domestic and the injector is a bit different in shape.

properly check for a fuel leak. yank the whole rail out with injector and fuels lines still connected. Prime the fuel pump and make sure you don't see any fuel leaking out of the rail.

no fuel leaks anywhere around the injector, i pressurized the system and inspected for leaks from the rail before we reassembled it.this fuel setup just doesnt seem to be working out, I've applied all the compensation to the ecu for the injectors and even used a few of my own little tricks to getting it to run right and no matter what it simply will not behave.

Are you running enough resistors for your 6 injectors? The honda resistor pack is for a 4cyl. Did you add 2 resistors to get it evened out?

If/when I run low impedance injectors I'm just going to get 6 new resistors.

I'm guessing that he's running an Accord resistor pack.

Are the injectors new, used, or rebuilds?

Are the injectors top or side feed?

the injectors are used & top feed. The car seems to run fine at driving speed the idle is where the miss is heard. I also cant seem to figure what resistor pack to use. The Acura legend resistor pack just doesnt seem to work.

If they're used, ask the guy you bought them from what lag settings he used when he ran them. And have you tried leaning out the idle cells to see if it helps? Is it running on O2 feedback?

I'm not familiar with the acura resistor pack, but have you measured the resistance for each of the 6 channels?

5.8 ohms per with the ledgend resistor pack, i run one on my car for my denso 720's and it runs fine.idle cells are set for 14:1 as per stock but it hunts terribly...i suspect its either dirty injectors or just the crappy rochester injector design.

im not sure what it is I found another air leak so I'm hoping thats its as for the resistors I'm not sure how it works but I dont see how a 5.8 ohm resistor on a 2 ohm injector works on a 12 ohm setup. Could someone explain?

Yes the O2 feedback is on and i've tried everything from lowering the idle, changing the injector constant, making the afrs really rich at idle (12:1 which is the only way it will idle at all), changing the lag time only changes the afr's up or down.

It has to be something to do with the resistance to the inje.ctor. The ecu itsnt able to control it
