N1 pump has 6 bigger fins while oem has 8 smaller fins. Unless your resurfacing the head and block an oem head gasket might seal better.

The OEM head gasket is more than adequate. Also, they seal better than most.

Also use the OEM water pump.

Roughly Two and a quarter shipped and your done. Also, make sure your head and deck are both straight-edged. The OEM gasket will give you a little bit of leeway if it is not exactly square.

why oem water pump and gasket? i live in the south now and im triing to make it run cooler. and how much boost will the stock gasket hold? im putting a precision sc 61 turbo, 740 injectors and aem. im shooting for about 450whp but want it to be ready for more. i am also gona drive this car just about every day so i can get out of my wifes honda so i need it fairly reliable.

You have to be careful when choosing an after market head gasket because it could change the compression, thats why most. Like said before, if you want to use a metal head gasket, make sure the deck and head are flat. I doubt you need more than OEM for the water pump, just be sure you are running a good rad and fans. Honestly though, search some more and you find better information.

I suggested the OEM gasket because, they can hold a lot of pressure, and are more forgiving than MLS gaskets. Also, as GIJoe said, with the MLS, you can modify the CR.

The OEM water pump because, unless it is a dedicated drift or road-race (sustained high rpm) car the OEM can actually out perform the N1 water pump.

Also, don't forget a set of uprated ARP head-studs. ;)
Ducting and a decent radiator will make the biggest improvement. (although, a clutch fan is far superior to e-fans - if you can fit it.)
