how to work vtc in rb25det in my r31 skyline??

how to install or work?

must r33 gauge or what?

uhmmm wow... ok vtc should work if you wired in the rb, it should be automatic, and please clean up yer post....

the 12v wire supplies a few things, make sure it gets power.

why does my vtc solenoid click everytime i slightly touch on the gas? is it supposed to do that?

Yes it engages around 1100 rpm and disengages aroung 5kish.

Is it like that on all nissan motors? Certain people have told me on the SR's it ENGAGES on around 5k.

If i were to remove the VTC, say run adjustable cam gears and run a chipped RB20 ECU, can that be done with success? I've heard some people do that, but ive never heard how it works out.

Yes, it's only RPM dependent.

Most if not all Nissan VTC is to improve mid-range TQ. That's why it is disengaged at the ~5k rpm point.

if my vtc solenoid on my 25 needs replacement can i run a vtc solenoid off an s14 sr???

how can you tell if your solenoid needs replacement we started my brothers rb25 the other day and his doesnt click like mine does and it doesnt feel as if it pulls as hard as my rb25 does soo any ideas?

it doesnt make THAT much of a difference guys. ive ran with and without it and never noticed a big difference lol
