i just picked up a 93 vert. im looking at swapping the KA thats in it for an RB25 + the manual transmission conversion once i have some cash flow . i see lots of sr20 verts and a couple rb20s but no rb25s. ive spent hours searching on the net trying to find someone that has done it but i came up with nothing. is there something in swapping an rb25 into a vert thats different then a coupe?

hey you guys forgot i had a rb25.. ... and Eikon has A rb20. There are a hand full of verts with rb's 20/25/26's. if you want to be one of a kind go with the LS1 i so wanted to do that whis i would have..

As far as diffrence there is non you can get any mount kit mackiney/tophat/skyco or r32 or r33 subframe(I know its one of them).

I my self used the top hat mount kit and it worked fine minus the rubber isolators.

on Nico they have a really good RB section you should go and check it out.

i've never seen a picture of your engine! COWPRINT!!! lol!! i have to show my wife. she had a cowprint fling for a while (painted her bedroom walls white with black blotches) back in high school. she'll get a kick out of that.

awesome.

the great thing about a rwd chassis is that if you can stuff the engine into the engine bay, you can make it work. good luck.

My advice would be to do yourself and the next owner a favor and have the shop install a new intake manifold.. Either a Greddy piece or go back to stock. I'd be very surprised if that poorly designed intake manifold was not the cause of your problem.

Good luck with it.

Haha.. just the intake manifold I'm sure. It really is a spectacular car! But from the first day builder of that that car showed up on the boards I have been looking at the intake manifold with dread. So it was no surprise to me that this guy who bought the car had trouble with the engine.

As soon as the engine is repaired, and the stock intake manifold is put back on or a Greddy unit in it's place.. this car will be back on my good list!
