your turbo sounds like it needs a rebuild.

id suggest a simple upgrade would be a t3/t4 internal wastegate. just a small spacer on there to keep the compressor from hitting the manifold and your set.

well youd also need to change your DP for the different flange.

Now if you wanted the very very simple upgrade, Ive seen a few turbos from jdm land on ebay. direct replacement upgrades from hks. even fits the same DP.

But id suggest just going with a t3/t4 internal wastegate.

An SC61 would be nice, a modified manifold or a wastegate box would help with running the WG.

krayton, what turbo are you running?looks like the s61 will need a HKS manifold..right?. or will that bolt right in to with the stock manifold?....

No, stock manifold just needs to have a WG flanged welded ot it.

That's DETurbines engine. I like Yellow4g63 had a pic of one bolted to a RB20.

Accel junky had one on his RB25. I think he had it for a few months and it didn't crack (but his pistons did DOH)Krayton said he had issues with mounting. I recently got one but i haven't installed it yet. I got it for $89+s/h. I wouldn't pay anymore for it.

my t3/t4 has gotta be old or something. mine looks different then the new t3/t4s.

it looks like itll clear if you use a t3/t4 from what ive seen.

(talking about the SS top mount)

I know I have said that my turbo is shooting oil, but yesterday I check the turbo and it still tight and spin very smooth, no bending or moving side to side and there is no oil comming out from the shaft when I hand spin it. I wonder what happen if you are oil over flow.I'm thinking I might be oil over flow. I don't have an oil catch tank.when I check, looks like the hose from the valve cover down the the turbo intake seems to have oil in it.If your oil is overflow, what happen?......
