Hello, just wanted to let anyone who was wondering if the rb25 turbo fits on a rb20, well it does, with the stock elbow, all the oil/coolant lines match up, you have to take the heat sheild off your header and move the ic pipes around a bit, You also have to remove the fitting in the 20 compressor and put it in your 25 turbo for the wastegate line, as for the power, it seems to spool a bit later than my 20 turbine, pulles harder in the top end but nothing crazy (sadly) i might up the boost to 13 since im running 11 right now, i also swaped the turbo's wastegates, For the final verdict, do it right and buy a real turbo, the 25 pulls harder but it wont make you say Holy ****!, haha

Nice to know that the affair is almost bolt on.

Thanks for the info. Are you using the stock elbow or something like the ebay elbow?

One other thing you need the rb25 compressor flange too, but you can make the 20 flange do for a while. I am using the stock rb20 elbow.

RB25 compressor flange? Which part are you talking about... for the compressor discharge?

What fitting are you refering to moving from the RB20 compressor?

Sorry lost in the terminology here... not sure what you are saying is what I am thinking...

Glad to know it fits... do you have a cat on your car... what modifications are you running along with this turbo?

i think hes referring to the elbow like i am. comparing the 2 turbos, they look exactly alike. all the lines line up and everything.

only visual difference is the intake elbow. the rb25 is bigger.

If you look at the 20 compressor there is a fitting going into the compressor connected to a line running to the wastegate, you need to swap that fitting(or thats what i did) you have to drill a hole and thread it into the 25 compressor cause there isnt one but there is a dimple thing i just drilled there, and the flange im talking about on the compressor is the flange that goes to the hot pipe, ANYONE WANT TO SELL ONE????????????? And for the mods all i have is 3 inch turbo back exhaust, i want to up thge boost to about 14 psi opinions on that?

thanks,
