rb25 transmission swap

what transmission can i replace my rb25 transmission with? need an economical swap. I've heard 300zx will work, if so, what is needed to complete it? Any help will be appreciated.

I have read that the 300zx NA transmission will work. However, they do not directly bolt up and the shifter will not be perfectly positioned. There is a pretty good article on the web about doing this swap. I am considering it myself in the coming weeks, so if I manage to pull it off I will post my results.

300zx transmisssion inside(GEARS only) same the gears in your transmission but the gear metal cover is different, also the shifter in 300zx outside the transmission same that in toyota supra 94+, so should you send these two transmissions to a proffisional mechanic to use some of gears in your original transmission, by the way if the NISSAN ALTIMA GTS-R 1989 - 1995 available in your junk yard you can use that car transmission :-)

if you cant fix it just send me and i will find original skyline RB25det transmission in my area but i think it too far.
