I haven't found a definite answer on this topic and want to set the record straight. I have a neo transmission and want to convert it to push to save cash by using a 300zx clutch.

I found a post by Reignman way back. can anyone verify that this is all that I need to do it?

"Well after searching on the web and other forums I found that a R34 RB25 transmission can be converted to push type for a couple hundred dollars with the parts below: "

Part - Nissan Part #
Front Cover - 32110-05U11
Front Cover Gasket - 32112-05U11
Throwout Bearing Sleeve - 30502-14601
Clutch Release Fork - 30531-01S00
Pivot Spring - 30534-E9000
Bearing Retaining Spring - 30514-14600

My understanding is that buying these parts, it will be a direct installation and no modification needed except for drilling and tapping for the slave cylinder.

those parts listed, aren't they not z32 trans parts? I would rather buy the rb one's which I've heard already have the pivot ball installed on the front cover verses drilling and tapping.

go ahead and spend silly money on rb specific parts or just get the z32 gear which is the same crap...just drilled differently.

Does anyone have the part numbers to buy the z32 parts from a part store?
