im looking to build my rb25 to put out around 500whp and it would be extremely disappointing to have my transmission slip cause the gears have been shredded by the torque... i dont know if the stock transmission will hold this much power, or what my options are, i wouldn't mind rebuilding the transmission with stronger internals, but the parts availability is scarce, also ive seen toyota guys mating chevy transmissions to thier 2jzgte and that would be my first choice if it was possible due to the availability of the parts. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You are talking about the 5 speed, right? I'm making around 500rwhp with drag radials, and haven't busted one yet. The are pretty beefy. It's the same internals as a 300ZX and RB26 transmission.
