rb25 trans to on a rb20 engine

will the rb25 transmission fit on a rb20 engine ??

physically fit, yes no problem but you need a custom driveshaft as the output shaft splinecount and length of rb25 trans are different.

if i use the rb25 driveshaft would that work?

do you have a r32 or r33? as far as i know the r33 never got a RB20 in it.

I think there was a SOHC RB20 R33 but it would have likely been AT only.

not only that but thats SUPER rare and i think only came in a 4 door.

the name r32skyline was taken so i went one up i have a r32 gts that has a automatic that i swap with a stick but i want to do the rb26dett swap later so i to do the rb25 trans now instead of later while i still can afford it ( I Think ??)
