Alright guys I would like everyones Opinion on the best setup and options I have.

Basically since I have got the Megasquirt ecu and Propane conversion almost complete I am looking into my rear end Options.

Here is what my thoughts are. Currently I am on the Stock r200 Welded 4.08 final.

With my Megasquirt ECU I have a nice launch control setup and I will be able to make around 20psi at launch. Which you guys know as well as I do, At a 5500 20psi launch Those axles will spit like a canon.

Also It seems that 1st gear as of right now is a little short. ESP when I start launching hard.

Now I know everyone is going to just start throwing stuff at me for options. Here is the Guide lines I wanna keep. Tell me if its possible.

I really wanna keep my 4lug hubs, Due to the fact of my brake setup and Wheel combo.

Also, For those of you who have tried a higher gear like a 3.69, What did you guys think? If I was to get a higher gear do you guys think I could pick up some Et down low? B/C as it sets with the 4.08 It doesnt really pull hard as hell until 3rd and 4th gear, 1st and 2nd are real short.

So what differential and axle combo can handle a 5500rpm launch at 20psi (approx 400-435tq) on Drag Radials and allow me to keep my 4lug hubs?

Use the q45 axels, take them to a driveline shop and have them make you a custom set. I used the gts-t axels on mine and they hold up pretty well.

I have thought about that too. What kind of $$$ did that cost you to get them custom?

To be honest I have NO problem dropping a 9inch ford in there cause I know it will hold. BUT Around here, All the tracks have went to mostly stock suspension classes so I wont be able to compete in many events with that rear end.
