I searched and found out the capacity of my lsd, but i cannot seem to find the fluid capacity for the RB25 transmission. I was going to go pick up some Redline tomorrow, but I am not sure how much to get. I believe the MT-90 is for Nissan applications correct? would 75w90 work for a vlsd or is there a better option?

thanks in advance,jody

If I remember reading correctly, the Nissan Rear Wheel Drive transmissions take anywhere from 2.5-3 quarts. I always put in three just to make sure everything stays good and coated and won't be starved when cornering hard or anything of that nature.

In my Maxima, I always used Redline MT-90 since it is GL-4 approved for our Synchros.

remove filler plug and fill until fluid just starts to come out, we use only 85/90 or 90 Red line or other full syn oils...
