So apon playing with my RB25 Series2 TPS trying to set it, I've come to the conclusion i'm not exactly sure what I'm doing. I've searched and read many articles, but still confused on what exactly I should be looking for.

So I've got key in power on and I'm taking a volt meter to the brown/bottom plug on the TPS. I've got the negative to the black blue wire (far left pin if looking at connecter with push clip on top) and positive to far right pin yellow/black wire. I'm getting a reading of about 6.5 volts. Do I have my hook ups right? And I'm suppose to get 5 volts correct?

Also I've loosened the two screws and can freely turn the TPS. I read somewhere I was suppose to listen for a click or something. Haven't heard a click. Moved it back and forth with the car started and it idled up and down a little, but nothing major. I just turned the sensor far counterclockwise as possible and screwed it back down.

I feel really clueless as to what I'm doing. So if anyone wants to lend a hand and let me how retarded I am right now, feel free, it will be much appreciated.

really simple. just did this **** on mine

attach yout voltmeter like this

black - negative battery terminal

red - middle wire

when the throttle is closed should read .3ish volts (not that important) when the throttle is wide open, should read 4.0+ish volts (important, close to 4 but ABOVE 4).

rotate the TPS just like the CAS to adjust it when your testing.

Thanks Kamin!

I've just been trying to finally track down all the stupid little quarks wrong with the car and get it 100%.

Blown240sx, Yeah I've been meaning to get ahold of him, but I don't have any major issues yet, just dumb little things here and there to finish out. I'll be getting ahold of him when I get a PFC to get a tuning from him and show me the ropes of it.
