Hey guys Ive been contemplating the idea of trading out my RB25 for an RB26.

I know I can use my RB25 transmission and oil pan on the 26.

But I got some other questions.

I got the McKinney Mount Kit, will it work with the 26 aswell?

Also, will my BRAND NEW ACT 6 puck work with the RB26? If not, what can I do to make it work?

Any other help is appreciated, thanks guys.

Yes to all..although I would chop the diff off the 26 oil pan and use ..more capacity,WAY better baffling..and actually strengthens the block to an extent(like a stud girdle only for the block instead) Unfortunately I didnt take pictures after I welded the driveshaft holes shut.

i cut my rb26 pan diff off and welded both the axle outlet up, the pan holds allot more oil and the aluminum releases heat faster/better then the tin one the 20/25 pan..

just my .02 on that

the mounts you have now will work..
