haha yeah i know, i just didn't want to start a new thread over this topic. I went ahead and contacted an ebay seller who specializes in nissan sr/rb pars and just bought anew spring from him.

If you can't find one, just set the belt up so that you have 1/2 a twist avail in the section from pully up to tensioner. (bottom left)

can anyone confirm this? i didnt get a spring with my new tensioner. really dont remember one off my old one and cant find it in any bags.

so do i really need it? will this work?
