RB25 Throttle Response Issue

Hey guys would the symptoms of a slight studder sometimes under normal crusing throttle, or completely no throttle response at all when I put my foot on the gas, and just hearing turbo noise be a symptom of a bad TPS sensor?

Could be a boost leak issue...i was having similar issues a few months back, if you have a front mount intercooler check your silicone hose connections in you intercooler piping. One of mine came loose and as soon as i tightened the clamps holding it in place the throttle response issues went away.

also check out this thread in the RB Section of the forum : "RB25DET S2 hesitations , I dont know where to start....?"

It could be as simple as a quick boost leak fix that I mention above, but in that thread posted they go over a bunch of scenarios that could lead to your issue.

I DO NOT have a boost leak. Thats been checked. And the leak the studder is only VERY light throttle, and after a hard pull and letting off the gas, the engine goes real quiete and the engine wont respond to throttle input, noly once i put my foot pretty afr down. Im almost positive its a TPS sensor or other electrical problem.

A boost leak is NOT one of my problems.

Definitely sounds like a TPS problem. are u still running stock motor and ecu?
