rb25 thermostat????????

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

I need a new thermostat for my rb25. Can I use the thermostat from a 300tt or do I need to order one off the internet? someone please help me out so I know if I can go to the parts shop or if not, can someone gimme a website to grab one

You can get the Z32 thermostat which runs at about 83-84C or you can get a Nismo thermostat that runs around 69-72C. Won't make much difference unless you are running constantly low temps and your ECU is dumping in extra fuel to correct for it (trying to warm the engine). At least that is how it is on the PFC.

make sure to get a new oem nissan z32 tt stat, cheaper than parts stores and wont fail.

Is that the same as the 20's while were on the subject, if a new Nissan one is only $5 I might as well pick one up and see if that helps!

all rb motors use the same tstat, nissan one is 14$ but ive never had one fail.compared to parts store stats the nissan one will eat the parts store brand alive.
