Okay, so while fixing some sparkplug issues and overall going through the engine bay, I decided that the evap. canister needs to go. Since the car is obd-1 and emissions here in ohio only tests for exhaust, what would be the best way to go about removing my canister (the small black one next to the radiator).I have to vaccuum lines from the RB25's intake manifold running to that canister - they were the same size and fit right in My big questions are:1.) Where do I put these lines if and when I remove the canister.2.) Do those lines even go to the canister in the first place?3.) If not, where do they go?

I will post pics of the lines in a few, and forgive the messy engine bay...

I left mine in, because things would smell like fuel fumes at times with it disconnected.

I removed mine and now wish I had it back. There's another thread about this, but ya your car/garage will smell like gas if you remove it and leave the fuel tank vent line open. If you cap the vent line, then it forces the gas smell into the cabin. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Just relocate it over by the passenger side firewall or strut tower.

yeah, i've been in my garage on the laptop looking over the fsm for the 240 to see where would be the most out of the way place to go...I guess it's off to autozone for some vaccuum lines.
