RB25 Swap

Need Help I am lookin for the best swap for my 93 vert I would like anyone that has done any swap to lend their ideas or any info .

Does anyone recommend a sr swap also

As far as engine swaps, RWD is great because you can take any engine and mount it to any transmission with an adapter plate/bellhousing and mount it to any rear-end with a custom driveshaft. You might need some hacking and fabbing to get everything to fit, but the possibilities are limitless. Search around the general 240sx forum as well as the various engine-specific forums here on Nico and you should get an idea of how versatile the S-chassis and Nissan RWD engines are.

Anyone done a VQ swapped vert yet? I'd love to do one, but don't want to drop the cash for the motorset. I'd rather get a new kit and wheels.

Micky(110octane) was the first (and only, as far as I know) to do the VQ in the vert. It's one of the sexiest verts ever.

The 240sx is one of the best pieces of auto canvas in the world. Let your heart draw a picture and then make it happen. There are a ton of engines swap choices, suspension upgrades, wheels, body kits, etc... that can all be interchanged to make this car exactly what you desire.

As for engines specifically... KAKA-TCA18SR20RB20RB25RB26VQVHVGLS X 302and many more...

Of that list, the only engines I haven't seen in the vert are the VG and the LS X. I have seen both of those in 240's so no reason they won't fit in a 'vert either.

So what do you want? 4 cyl, 4 cyl turbo, inline 6 turbo, V6, V6 turbo, V8 carbed, V8 Fuel injected, V8 forced induction....
