Hey everyone. I just purchased a 95 240sx with a RB25DET swap and I love it. The guy I bought it from said it needed plugs so I went ot buy some. Got the right kind and now Im not sure how to go about it. Do I have to take the intake manifold off and then the cover in the middle with the hex nuts? If anyone has any tips or links to a page that show it good because Ive looked all over and cant find anything. Thanks- Im new to the site but it looks geat.

Dear If you ask for the best spark plug for the engine, I would advise you to raise a 25 using (ngk bkr6egp) This is the best kind

*Note, next time you need help with the RB engine, please search the RB forums, which can be found using the navigation menu on the right side of your screen. Thank you.*

You do not need to remove the intake manifold. All you need to do is loosen the hose clamps from the throttle body and the opposite end of the cross pipe, from your intercooler outlet pipe. Also be sure to remove the hose coming off of the BOV, and the hoses that go from the small steel lines under the cross pipe to the charcoal canister and any other hoses that are connected to it.

Next remove the cross pipe from the engine.

Now, if your ignitor pack is on top of the plug cover, unbolt it, then move it out of the way, being careful not to lose the wiring clips that are on it.

Remove the hex bolts from the plug cover and remove the cover.

You'll see your coil packs secured to a two piece metal bracket. Unplug each coil pack and move the harnesses out of the way. Remove the 7 bolts that are holding the metal brackets (I think they're 12mm or 14mm bolts) and remove the brackets/coil packs carefully. You now have access to your plugs.

Swap the plugs, and put everything back in reverse order.

But there are a few subtle differences between the 20/25 and the 26.

Regardless, it's pretty much the same once you get the coil pack cover off the engine.

Yeah, I followed that rb26 one for my rb20. If you know your engine at all it'll make perfect sense
