I'm currently rebuilding my RB25 head, wanting to use solid lifters instead of hydrolic since i'll be running Tomei Procams. Instead of buying a set of Tomei solid lifters could the RB26 stock solid lifters be used without any modification to the head?

We wish it was that simple, unfortunately it would involve a lot more since the Rb26 valves are different lengths compared to rb25.

The diameter is the same per the fsm. Custom shims maybe needed? Don't know, you can try buying a RB26 lifter or two and check out the clearances yourself. Either way you would need new shims. I'd rather buy a whole RB26 head and be done with it.

I can find n/a RB20 and 25 neo's over here with out to much trouble. Would they have solid lifters you could stick into a turbo 25 head?

I'm picking up that neo head today after work. I can measure something if you want.
