yeah i talked to you at redline once when i was looking at alex's car. it was actully that day that i decided to sell my integra and buy a 240. I have never brought my car to redline since the people there are kinda shady, i have been on woodward a few times and i go to ann arobr meets all the time. The mod list on a2sportcomapcts is kinda old, and there are also no pics of my car on there even tho the person in charge of the site has quite a few of them...
the main problem i have with my shifter is the hight, i have no problem with the length of the throws. however if you do chop a few inches of the top that is less distance traveled during shifts.I see what you are saying about the synchros having less time to slow down, but if you can shift faster than your synochros, you need to win an award because it is near impossible to do.
If there are alot of people interested i can start to do some work to see if its going to be worth my time to do or not. I would only be making enouph so that i dont loose money on having one for myself, i really dont want to make a ton of them.
I did a similar thing with my intake manifold. i wanted the veilside intake but there wasnt one made for the rb25 so i pretty much made an exact replica of one. ended up being alot cheaper doing it all myself than it would have been to buy a veilside and made it fit somehow
