Hey guys, my rb25 transmission did not come with a shifter so I purchased a short shifter for it. After installing the short shifter I noticed that the c-clip does not actually hold it in. This leads me to believe that I am probably missing a metal gasket that is supposed to be in between the shifter and the c-clip. If so, do any of you know where I can source one of these gaskets from? Also, if anybody could post the fsm page that contains the shifter assembly I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks -Max

No, I was just guessing that I was missing a gasket since the c-clip does not hold the shifter in. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them up.

Make sure you didn't buy a shifter for the RB25de transmission. IIRC, the RB20det and RB25de trannies use the c-clip for the short shifter kits I've seen, but the kits for the RB25det trannies I've used all had a clamp kinda mount with 4 allan bolts holding it down. The clamp went under the lip that surrounded the shifter, as opposed to the factory c-clip style.
