RB25 S2: TB/TPS plugs

What's the purpose of the smaller, upper plug on a S2 RB25 throttle body? I'd assume the lower one is the TPS, but what does the top one do?

I looked at the FSM, but it only seems to be for a S1.

Bumping up because my wiring is done and apparently it idles just fine, but without this plug.

I also noticed that it's not used when upgrading/changing the intake manifold.

I still have no idea what it does.

It's the throttle position switch. Don't worry about it, it's only used as an Automatic transmission input.
