RB25 s2 MAF problems.

I have a RB25 S2. I'm trying to wire up a MAF from a maxima. I've searched all over to find out what wires go where, with no luck. I've tried several wire combinations, but nothing works. it will start and idle fine with no MAF, but every time I plug the MAF in, the engine dies.

If you had to wire up the MAF from the maxima you bought the wrong maf. The S2 RB25 has the same maf as the 95-96 maxima. It should just plug right in.

hmm, maybe I got one from the wrong year. my swap didn't come with the connector for the MAF, and the wires for the MAF are different colors than on the pigtail of the maxima MAF.

haha, wow, this sucks.

okay, so it turns out I have the wrong MAF, no pink lable. I think my MAF is S1, and my engine is S2. is there any way I can wire it up, or should I just go get a S2 Maxima MAF?

nevermind guys, I went and got a Maxima S2 MAF, pink label and everything,. found out how to wire it up from the links posted earlyr (thanks a ton!) and now my car runs great! I got to drive it for the fist time since I pulled the KA out.
