rb25 s2 issue

so i have a 98 s14 with a s2 rb25 with Apexi PowerFC, Tomei Poncams, Tomei exhaust cam gear, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Q45 throttle body. Starts and idles fine when cold. after driving normal for a few minutes and the car gets to normal temp and staying under 3000rpm's, it drives fine but once i go into boost around 4-4500, it cuts throttle and bogs downs and wants to die. when it dies, i go to start it again and it'll start and die again immediately. I found oil in my vct solenoid and replaced it and still giving me the issue.

Not getting any smoke from the exhaust or anything. don't understand what it could be :gotme

Do PowerFc utilize the stock MAF? other than the fact your running the Apexi it sounds like the standard Mass Airflow Meter is tired, but this is only a guess as to many things make these engines sensitive...I could be totally wrong but my s2 did this until I bought a working MAF...
