I'm currently running a stock"ish" RB25 in my S14. I am in the market for a bigger turbo as i have already purchased injectors, AFM, & NIStune. This is my daily driver so awesome reliability with great spool/pickup time would be ideal; 350-400whp would be what I'm aiming for. I've tried to do some searching but couldn't really come up with the information that i needed for this engine in s14. I've got the syko performance turbo elbow that clears the steering colum, so I'm not sure how that would work with a bottom mount turbo setup.

- Want to be able to use stock bottom mount turbo manifold
- Possibly use or reuse the syko performance turbo elbow
- Internally wastegated

This is in my S14 so space is a factor.

30r is a good, general all around turbo for the 20/25...pretty decent response with nice top end (cams limiting).
hope you have atleast 600cc injectors.

With these turbos will clearing the steering rack be a hard task to do?

I've got 550cc injectors :0

ive got a 30r on a low mount manifold and it clears the rack and shaft fine...assuming that whoever is making the downpipe is competent.

Yeah it's not the turbo u have to worry about, it's how u run the elbow coming off the turbo that will matter..I dought u be able to use the one one u got now cause most of the 30s has either a v-band or a 4 bolt housing wich in that case u have to get the flange or a v-band adapter to run your elbow to ur down pipe..
