I have a s1 rb25det in my s13
its all stock except for:
Greddy intake
Q45 throttle body
FMIC
Exhaust

Btw I have a leaky fpr and 2 of my couplers have tiny holes in them, but i ordered a nismo fpr and more couplers.

I have a few problems i need help with:
1. Running rich- I have fuel getting into my oil and I was told running rich can do that, but could anything else cause this??

2. Weird Idle- It will idle fine but when I free rev it and let off, it wont be able to catch itself..idle gets real low then fluctuates. Ive heard the Idle air control valve controls this but Im pretty sure mine is hooked up right. What could cause this??

3. Falling on its face- During driving It will just randomly cut out and completely fall on its face. What all could cause this??

Im planning to put some money into it soon like bigger turbo, injectors, ems, coils, and tune

Would those mods take care of it??

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you running a wideband? If so, what's your AF under boost, idle and light accel?

1. If you had excessive blowby/crankcase pressures and were running rich then yes that could happen. Do you have catch can/pcv?
2. Still running IAC? If so clean it.
3. Running AFR's of 10 or less and it can run like piss.
4. Fix your couplers
5. Exactly where is your fpr leaking from? If your vacuum line is getting extra air it will boost fuel pressure at idle.

Engine management should be your next purchase

Ok I will check all those things when I'm back at school, that's where my car is. Thank you for the suggestions!!
