So a few weeks ago I posted how I was putting a turbonetics T40B in my rb 240. Then I followed that up with..."the clutch went goodbye". Well I'm finally on my way to pick up the car from the shop with a brand new stage 4 spec clutch installed. I can't wait to get it broken in and then head up to the new hampshire strip to see what it can do. This will be the first time I've driven the car without clutch slippage. I'll post pics when I get back from the shop in a few hours =). I can't wait!

Do you know if the shop that changed your clutch had to remove the motor?

I'm about due for a clutch upgrade myself, but I'm stressin out because I've been told the motor needs to come out in order to reach the upper transmission bellhousing bolts.

Let us know how the clutch works out for you, I think I'm going to go with the spec stage 4 as well.

Hey I'm glad to hear you got the clutch fixed. Where did you take it?

The spec stage 4 is great - it's still very driveable on the street. The shop was able to do the job really quickly - I took it to a place called Tony's Auto Body and Repair in Dorchester, MA. This place was sketchy but good. Cash only, and when you pulled into a lot there was a sign saying "we have sold out inspection stickers..." Not a place really worried about cops interfering. But anyway, they did the job same day for $250. I couldn't of hoped for faster or better service, I'll be taking my car there for most things for now on.

They had a really nice camaro with a 440 big block and a big blower in the paint booth when I was there.

I'll be taking it up to the New England Dragway this wed and friday to see what it will do. Anyone going to be there?
