car won't rev past 5500rpm. I'm gonna try to clean the maf but other than that I don't even know where to start. I gave the fuel lines and intercooler piping a check over and everything seemed fine.

When I rev the engine up it pulls fine then at 5500rpm it feels like its hitting a rev limiter. No boggs, or misses or anything of that sort.

running stock ecu, stock turbo/boost, front mount.

are you sure its not missing or something like that? is your tach accurate? did you check your timing? what spark plugs and gap are you running?

I can't feel/hear any misses, 99% sure tach is accurate, and if its off its no more than a few hundred rpms. Didn't check timing, didn't wanna dive in too deep before I checked the easier things first. Just pulled all the plugs, they look good, gapped to .8mm. NGK iridiums if memory serves correctly.

unsure about afr as I don't have a wideband. Think that may be my next purchase. But standing behind the car idling doesn't smell too rich (I know that isn't scientific or foolproof just stating) and I have asked people driving behind me and they really haven't said anything so I don't think there out of wack.

Also checked to see if it was just under load and revved it at idle and it still hits a "limiter" at 5500 rpms

I'll try to get a video of it this weekend if that would help any
