Hi!!! after a lot of thinking i decided to change the OEM rods-pistons of my engine (RB25) and put a set of Eagle rods (H beam) and CP pistons(for 8.5:1 compression) with a cometic gasket 1.5mm!! I want to ask you people your opinions about those brands!!! Has anyone put them in his engine??

I wouldn't do the 1.5mm headgasket unless you've had the head shaved a lot. A lot of people get thick *** gaskets to try and lower compression, but they forget it messes up the "squish" or quench area by moving the bottom of the cylinder head to far away from the top of the pistion. It can actually induce knock which is kind of counter intuitive.

As for the brands, I think they are both good name brands with solid reputations and would stand by there products.

exactly. that 1.5mm headgasket will lower the compression more, maybe 8:1. just get the 1mm or 1.2mm HG. and don't get the Cometic HG.

Stock is 1.0mm HG and stock compression is 9.1:1. I run a tomei 1.2mm HG, but I had the head milled .1mm, so I think I'm right around 9.0:1 compression.

+1 for stock if you don't have the head cut. Ignore what all those guys on SkylinesAustralia say about "you can't go past 1.2 bar on the stock HG". A lot of them have no idea what they are talking about.

Your the guy putting a TO4z'd RB into a 13, right?

No...I will put an RB into an S13 with a GT3564R. So as i see the Gasket that I have 1.5mm is uselless!! Am I right? And another question all the CP pistons for RB25 are for 8.5:1 compression? Are any others for 9.0 compression for example? Oh....and something else if you want to tell me off course, how much did you take your gasket?

So after a lot of thinking i have decided to keep the OEM pistons-rods for now....I will change pistons rings and keep the 1.5mm cometic gasket I already have...can anyone tell what happens to the compression ratio with the OEM pistons (9.1:1) and 1.5mm Headgsket???
