I want to swap in an RB25 into my s14 and I want you to check out my parts/swap list and tell me what you think. I am going to keep the stock cams, turbo and injectors. My goal is to hit low 13's and if possible high 12's. I want to build basically a rly fun car to drive and this will be a daily driver. I put questions next to some parts do if you can help answer them it would be great. Thanks.

Deatschwerks has some 450cc injectors for the RB25, how do you think those would go with this setup?

Your list looks good, here are a few changes i suggest:

HKS BOV, blitz leaks at idle (as do most push type), or you can try that new synapse BOV

Test Pipe you really dont need because on S14s the cat is on the downpipe. The thing that looks like a cat under the car is actually a hollow 2.5 inch test pipe. You will see this when you get under the car. I personally use a high flow cat becuase the gas smell was that bad.

Koyo has heat soaked and crack on people using it with RBs i suggest the fluidyne or griffin if you can get your hands on one.

Clutch i recommend exedy or ATS, i never was a big fan of act, but they still make great clutches

You can adjust the tach by yourself pretty easily, just take the cluster apart and adjust it with a philips screwdriver, you can contact Syko performance if you need more help, they helped me with it. You will need something to read the actually rpm as reference though. Doesnt take too long and it saves you $100 from LS auto.

Oil cooler - i dunno setrab? haha expensive parts there. just get good lines and fittings, the core brand isnt that big of a deal.

I personally have a N1 water pump, might as well upgrade if youre going in there.

Oil pump i wouldnt know what to say, just that the N1 oil pump is dam expensive.

I also bought a gasket rebuild kit, but im too lazy to put it to use haha. I might be doing a RB26 soon enough so i might just sell it.

I always use nissan oil filters, again just my perference.

everything else on your list looks good, feel free to contact me for any questions you have about the swap. I'll do my best to help a fellow rb owner

If you change the injectors then you WILL need either a ECU tune or a piggyback to compensate.

if your using stock turbo, leave the injectors alone.

"Steel braided turbo lines"

You don't need those, unless you just want it to look pretty.

Definetly put the gasket kit on your list too.

Oil cooler is not a must, but it is nice.If your not going to track your car and its just a DD. not really necessary. But still nice though.

I wanted the injectors to be able to push it a little more and have a easier chance of hitting 12's. I would use an S-AFC if I got the injectors. But yes, the turbo will be stock.

Quick question??

I don't know.But...

Have you calculated if you need them???

Do you know how much air the turbo will push? Will it over power your stock injectors??

How much HP will you need to get into the 12's?

well I'm assuming the stock ones will be running high on there duty cycle so I think 450's will let me push the motor a little farther.

well forget about the s-afc and injectors. I'll do everything else first, the stock ecu should be fine for that and I can always upgrade later.

Just put the motor in STOCK, other than Clutch and FLywheel and other preventative stuff.

So that there is less to trouble shoot after its in.
