ive been told on the forums that rb25 is better then rb20 but everyone i talk to in person tells me that rb20 is better if im not going over 500 , I Had my heart set on a rb25det to seperate from the pack but , i been hearin so many bad things about it. Wtf is going on, ive ever heard from import shops that rb20 somehow is faster then the rb25 until 3rd gear it kinda inches away.

Since Kamin is on vacation this weekend.. I'll lock it. You need to work on your search skillz... this topic has been discussed many times... to the point where Kamin made a sticky at the top of the screen to discuss it.

But, to throw you a bone... I'll give you my opinion as a parting shot.

The RB25 is a better motor due to half a liter more displacement and a better turbo. But it costs more as well. In the end it all comes down to money. You can probably get a rb20 into the 350 to 400 hp range cheaper than the 25. But, over 400 the 25 wins.
