So I didn't do the swap myself. Charles Plumb of Plumb Performance in east county san diego did. Although I can tell you it can fit it's a little snug for the radiator intercooler should be able to do a v mount. The intake and the filter is kinda fitted underneath than on top. It's do able though you can achieve those numbers with like a gt30r or 35r and a proper nistune or jim wolf tune. Although from talking with many people wouldn't take a stock rb25 past 450hp. I've learned from talking to others with the rb25 engines that since were not rolling in some honda want a strong turbo that spools quicker in the lower rpms. Friend made the mistake of just wasting 1700 on a big turbo that spools around 5 to 7. Heres some pics of my swap. Once again i am not a professional I can just tell you from going from an rb20det to an rb25det what my experience has been with the z31. Hopefully you'll get some responses by some of the other people on this forum like the one dude with the sick rb26 240z

For your power gioals, You'll need a larger than stock Fuel pump, 50 lb/min or larger injectors, a large efficient intercdooler (the one CerberuSlol has in a dual pass which is not very efficient and will not support the kind of power you want to make, you'll want a single pass crossflow or vertical flow, the vertical flow tends to be the most efficient, I like treadstone for price andquality),2-2.5 hot side piping ( I like to match the turbo outlet) 3" cold side piping ( I try matching this to the TB)

The higher your peak HP number the later the spool and the peakier the power band will be, Propper Turbo selection can maximize your peak while minimazing the amount of lag, keep in mind that when making 500 hp form 2.5 liters you will have more lag than making it from a 3 liter engine
