First off hello RB community, haven't been around in awhile...nor has been my RB/240.

I know this topic has been brought up before but I couldn't find anything super recent. I havent really researched this subject in a couple of years. But long story short I need to get a new oil pump and I have a stock internal RB25. I know the N1 is built a little more solid but on a stock RB was the high pressure good or nessessary? Again I am looking for more recent info on this subject I found some older threads about this but looking to see if opinions have changed in the last few years about this. If there a recent discussion about this then I appologize.

Thanks for the help.

get a standard 26 pump, if you're chasing high hp/revs then you should strongly look into the nismo/tomei offerings.
