rb25 mounts

does anybody know anything about mounting an rb30 into an s13...besides the height clearence will rb25 mounts work

The RB30 is about 1 inch taller then the RB25. I know using our mounts will allow for the taller engine. We have about 3 inches from the top of the motor to the strutbar. Also we are running the Greddy intake.

I am not sure about using the stock crossmember, since we do not use it. The RB30 can take the RB20 or RB25 motor mounts. All that is needed is to change out the mounts that come off the block to what ever you want to use.

ohh to be exact it is 1.3 inches taller

so if i get the kit from McKinneys for the rb25 i can use it to swap in the rb30.

Depending on which block adapter come with the engine you may need to change the to RB25 OR /RB26 to use one of our kits..

what block adapter? i thought that all rb have to the same engine bolt pattern..correct me if i am wrong

Also bigbignacha go to http://www.skylinesaustralia.com there are alot of more RB30 info, bigbignacha i think you have to swap the RB30 sump with a RB25's

The bolt patern is the same, but the alum adapter for the motor mount s are all different..
