Hey guys-- sorry for the noobish question but i couldnt find anythign concrete. As the title states I have an s2 rb25 and I need a new clutch flywheel and pressure plate.

I know the flywheel goes with the motor, but the pressure plate and clutch--- can are they for the 20 or 25?

well a PP bolts on the said flywheel which you know needs to be an RB25 so you then in turn you know that the pressure plate also needs to be for an RB25 I haven't dealt with any RB20's but I'm 99% sure its the same anyways. On a side note, if you don't like hunting down RB parts, the U.S. NON turbo Z32 disc, PP and TO bearing all work on the RB motor.

I have loose pressure plate for 25 I could measure if someone has 20 they could give measurements for Looking on ebay, alot of the flywheels/ clutchkits list as fitting both. Dont know if they are dual drilled but by pics I had seen on two of them they weren't.

If you have a RB25 block just get the RB25 parts

All RB's share the same bolt pattern clutch to crank if that's what you guys are asking. Same bell housing pattern too, so I can't see any clutch from any RB not fitting in any other RB. Only possible conflicts I can think of is if you mix push/pull and if you get a tripple that needs a shorter throw out bearing and use a regular one (then it just grinds the collar down until it's fine--ask me how I know LOL).

ok so i guess we need to break it down like this:

1. Are the rb20 and 25 flywheels interchangable, different sizes? 2. Regardless of the bolt pattern-- which clutch has the splines needed for the RB20 trans.

I did a quick hunt around ebay and it looks like the fidenza flywheel isnt specific to the motor, but its specific to the trans--- saying you can only use it with an RB25 trans. Anyway Any info would be great.

ThanksEric

I had a stock RB25 clutch on the back of an RB25 with a RB25 transmission, then put on a RB20 transmission later with everything else the same.
