So like the title says.. I need help finding a manifold that will work for an rb25 using a holset hx35 turbo. I bought the ebay top mount.. it doesn't work.. The angle on the manifold makes it where the turbo is hitting the valve cover. So if anyone can help.. please do..

-stock will work just fine (search 'holset on rb20 notes')

-if it's really, really close you can grind the compressor back

-or you could cut the flange off, then cut the collector at an angle then weld it back on, that shouldn't affect it's flow capabilities

make sure you have a good wastegate or you won't be able to keep that beast from spooling.

what turbo blanket is that on your hx35?

cut the flange and get it rewelded to suite your needs. ive tried stock but man....boost creep like a mofo and could not find anyone who wants to weld cast...

boost creep is related to the wastegate not the manifold itself. I have zero boost creep as low as 10psi with a Tial V44. Welding cast isn't very difficult, there is a possibilty of cracking but not the biggest deal as it's cake to pull, grind and reweld.

i know that its wastegate related but i was just stating that it would be easier for him to just cut and weld the top mount he already has.

I got the ebay one as well, had to cut flange off, grind down runners and re weld flange at a different angle. also wastegate tube has to be cut and rotated 90 degrees.
