ok so like i said in my other thread, new to the nissan world. this is me starting my research before jumping head first like most idiots...

question is, i hate the stock rb25 intake mani, wanted to know links, pics, advice, prices and all technical views on other manis to replace it.

another one is, the exhaust manifold. . lookin to run a 3076 after the swap but want a good exhaust mani after i build the internals. tryin to figure out my set up

kinda funny, never been into forums before lol. yet i check this daily.

Ill give the benefit of the doubt that you have actually never been to ANY forums before as you say.

There are a handfull of options, and you will find many chinese knockoffs that are not worth a crap.

Seems the most popular way is Greddy. There was a new greddy IM for the 25 in the RB classifieds posted by corey(?). Its the post at the top thats stickied.

Welcome.....manifolds that come to mind are Greddy,www.bings.ca sells a very nice piece as well. Also there is a thread on here where you may be able to get your hands on an adapter plate to run an RB26DETT manifold with ITB's on your rb25 very reasonably (Although the tested prodeuct is being developed for the rb20).

Exhaust manifolds depend on how much you want to spend....lovefab is one company that is making a killer looking mani, fullrace makes an unbelieveable manifold....both of these are in the 1400-2400$ range. Then there is a current group buy on a 6boost manifold which is Australian made and comes in at around 1000$ shipped and Was it 1100$ for the forward mount setup...Darius can tell you, only thing with this is you can't get it coated as you will have to have the wastegate flange of your choice welded on.

Hope this helps.

Shocker - that is a bada$$ intake manifold. I remembered seeing pics of that a while back. Is it finally reinstalled after your rebuild or what? Very nice piece.

Another intake manifold that a lot of the Aussies like for the 500-700 hp range is the Plazmaman because it retains the longer lower stock runners for low end torque. Both use velocity stacks which are huge in this case!

As far as exhaust manifold goes, you aren't going to find a better piece for the money than the 6boost. Full-race and Lovefab make nice stainless manifolds, but they are twice the price and are areguably better flowing. I honestly belive Kyle from 6boost about his comparisons with his tuned manifolds vs. full-race's and lovefab's about the equal length runners not making $hit for difference for the power levels that 99.9% of us are running. I'll take the extra $1300 I saved and buy a wastegate, BOV, intercooler, and have the manifold ceramic coated.

Frankly, if you are running only a 3076R, I would stick with the stock manifold. It flows plenty for that power level and the downpipe plumbing is eaaasy. e-mail cdorhout for his impressions. He's been running that setup for a year and loves its simplicity. If you decide on a 6boost manifold, the 3076 should be externally gated, or the manifold will cause boost creep with the internal gate.

i thought the bings was was a freddy, and a POS? idk. but for the 25 just go with greddy, as for exhaust manifold, check out the HKS cast, or if you can get lucky like me and get your hands on one, a cast Apexi Top mount.

Um it was installed when I had the 35r on along with my equal length manifold before the assplosion. I tell you what between the plenum, ex mani, and the cams, made the motor sound like an absolute monster.

Motors not done get, going to the builder this Friday. I'll be sure to post results once done.

Ummmm well I have spoken with Bings quite a ew times and know alot of ppl who have dealt with him...yes it is a Freddy Manifold but the difference with Bing is he tests all the knockoff stuff he sells to ensure a quality product.

Myself I'm honestly with anyone else on this subject..the road has been to hard and too long to cheap out on knockoff stuff,But I will say Bings sells nice product.

I believe he did test it.

Assplosion was due to wrong exhaust cam shaft mating with the wrong CAS, thus there was no solid connection and when full boost hit... well you can sort out the rest....
