Still experiencing problems with my car... Living on my own now 900 miles away from home, so it's difficult with a limited tool supply to even attempt to fix...

Problems:Start up, car idles great and runs/drives fine until it's fully warmed up

Once it is warmed up, it will continue to idle, but very sluggishly; it wants to die. Anytime i attempt to take off from 1st it bucks/sputters/bogs but boost will rise all the way to 13-15psi... it barely starts moving.. shifting to 2nd, backfires, and i'm barely going 15-20mph... give it gas, turbo spools to full boost but i'm still hardly accelerating...

It does this through all the gears...

After about 5+ minutes of bogged driving, the motor will come to life.

Anything in vacuum up to 5psi drives normal... when i start making more boost than approx. 5psi it feels like there is a giant boost leak.. the boost will rise to 13-15psi but the car just doesn't want to move.

Whenever any of this problem is occuring and it's making more than 5psi, i can hear a noise coming from either the turbo or air escaping somewhere.

I've checked my intercooler couplers for leaks, I've gone over vacuum lines looking for leaks and can't find anything.

I've got a nismo FPR and it's set at 42psi without vacuum... However i have noticed that i can't turn the pressure down on the FPR lower than 39 psi... if i turn the adjustment screw any more it will come out of the regulator.

That's all i can think of right now... if anyone is in the orlando, FL area, i could really use a hand!!!

yeah dude read the post... i have no ohm/multimeter to check the maf... and i've looked over and tightened all of my couplers... and i've been looking for any vacuum leaks

I'm starting to think maybe something is wrong with the wastegate

sounds exactly like the issue i had with my DSM. changed the maf, it helped slightly. but turned out to be a bad ecu. good luck.

how do you expect to fix it if you dont have tools to repair, cant diagnose anything, and can't try swapping out parts? you cant just tighten hose clamps forever.

its probably your maf.. sounds like you're running rich

best way to check for vacuum leaks is to hook an air source to your turbo inlet and send about 20 psi through your piping without the car on. you'll hear it and find it if somethings leaking.

uhh wouldnt recommend that for the wastegate unless you're trying to overboost the turbo and see how far the exhaust wheel will go through your exhaust

If you are in Orlando, take it down to Central Florida Turbo. They have worked on a number of high HP RB25's in the past and generally know what they are doing. My impression is that your problem is due to a faulty MAF signal or something stupid like that. Have you checked the plastic and rubber piece that connects the MAF to the turbo inlet for cracks or breaks?
