I have had it in my s13 for about 2 years but recently it just lost its bite.. still responsive but I just don't feel the power anymore.. so I changed the timing belt didn't help double checked the fuel pressure and for boost leaks timing is 15 ... the Turbo is getting shaft play if anyone has any ideas let me know thanks!

Are you just judging by your butt dyno? Is it WAY different? People have a way of just getting used to the power they have. My 600hp Skyline felt slower after driving it for a few months. Ran the same times, but I just got used to it. Might just be in your head.

I agree. I went out street tuning yesterday and the first pull always feels super fast. By the time I was done tuning, I had already gotten used to the speed/power.

judging your cars power off of a street race is even worse than trusting your a** dyno

shaft play will hurt spool time, but i'd check for boost leaks or something, being two years old maybe your timing belt stretch and slipped. if you really think it feels slower start with the easiest things and check it over.

I guess i didnt read over your post very well, but 3rd gen eclipse, some are v6 and do put out mid 200 in power. it could be possible.

Did you race this guy before and beat him, or are you just judging by what you think an RB'd S-chassis will do? Also, I know nothing about Eclipses of any "Gen" but with some decent bolt ons and a tune, would it be a stretch to see one of those running high 13's? Putting an RB in your car isn't like sprinkling magic fairy dust on your car and transforming it into a race car incapable of being beaten. I'll google 3rd gen Eclipses though and see what I find.

LOL, okay, you might be right. After googling them, I thought I was looking at a bunch of Honda forums :rotfl What a bunch of ghey, overweight, wrong wheel drive, underpowered ricers. One dude is rocking a 75 shot and running high 14's :lolling:

Seriously though, OP, the difference in a mid-14 second car and a low 14 second/high 13 second car is not much. No more than a couple of cars from a roll up through 100mph or so. Take it to a track or get a Gtech or something and report back with what times you are getting. Unless you have a specific comparison against another car from before, talking about how you do against cars now is useless.

my car stock suspension, fmic, 13lbs, 3.5 inch exhaust and my fastest pass was a 13.8 at 109. spinning bad and i know for a fact my car would put a 3rd gen eclipse even slightly modded1st and 2nd gens. so there might actually be something wrong with your car. just a small comparison.

That's what I'm saying ... I just changed my timing belt... I really think my cas might be bad.. I heard ticking and it was from that .. other than that I really don't know unless it is internals .. ill do compression check too

do a leak down test first, just to make sure everythings still solid. then a compression test after. but if your cas was even slightly bad i dont think it would start. it controls your injectors, to test it keep car off igniton key on and turn the cas and you should hear the injectors slicking.
