rb25 intake manifold water tube

need help, i bout a gredy style intake manifold for my rb25 and wen i got it, it came with the water tube seperated, it looks like the tube is copper or brass that has been crome plated, i try to have it welded but the guy said it couldnt b done, i herd that it should b push in with a rubber mallet but min is loose so i think it has to b welded so it wont leak, does any body have any ideas will b verry helpfull thanks

I to am wondering this?

Mine will stay in but is loose enough for me to pull it out with my hand.Is there any other way its supposed to be put in to were it will hold and not fall out and leak?

i coated mine in red high temp rtv all the way around and then shoved it in. its pretty solid. havent had my car running long enough to see if it leaks or not, but dont think it will
