what is the color of the top of the stock rb25det 370cc injectorS?

Dark red, if I remember correctly. Almost a maroonish color.

wierd.. thats what i thought too... well last nite we put in my egt.. and take a look at the injectors.. they are purple tops.. we take the car out to see what the EGT hits.. 750 degrees is as high as it would go.. so we start leaning it out.. end up leaning it out 30% and still have a little more room to go.. so im thinking that the injectors that came in my motor were allready upgraded(550s maybe)... thad explain why my cars allways ran rich..

Which type RB25 do you have cyris?I have a series II and the injectors are purple.

There may be a difference between SI and SII injectors just like the z32 TT ones.
