Well I went to start my for the first time in a quite a while and it started but after a few mins it just suddenly died. I tried starting it a few time and it wouldn't turn over. Thats when I noticed gas coming out of my MAF so I hit the battery disconnect and waited for the gas to evaporate. I pulled the plugs and found cylinder 4 full of gas. I threw the car in gear and rolled it a few feet and gas spewed everywhere. Once the gas evaporated this time I reconnected the battery and as soon as the fuel pump kicked on the cylinder filled with gas again. So my question is should I have these injectors rebuilt or just junk them and buy different ones (i.e. not deatschwerks )? The ones I have now are the 740cc deatschwerks injectors.

Have you inspected the lower o-ring on the injector? It is probably torn and the injector is fine.

I didn't see any problems with it last night(then again it was dark out), but I'll check again.

I know, I just replaced the seals and o-rings last fall. I just didn't have that size o-ring to replace it last night.

Now that I think about your probably right. If I think about it, the fuel was able to fill the spark plug well all the way to the top and start to trickle over to cyl 3 & 5 all within the priming time of the fuel pump. With a 740cc stuck open, the most I would estimate on seeing would be in the 62 ml range and seeings how the spark plug well is much larger than 62ml, fuel has to be coming from somewhere else.

the injector is most likely not stuck open but the oring sealing the injector to the rail is probably torn or pinched...that will flow more than the injector could ever hope to.

I've been very careful installing injectors before and the o-rings still catch sometimes. Just make sure you lube them up really well with vasoline and don't push too hard. That's what she said.
