this is going to be short but sweet, my car ran briefly and now it dosent. i verified that i have spark, but when i check for fuel i do not hear the fuel pump anymore trying to prime, and there is no pressure in the lines, my interior harness for the chassis is a f***ing mess that i have been trying to resolve for a while, so its fubar working on it, as a fix for this can i hardwire the pump which is suggested anyway and if i hardwire it, just throw the red line to the battery with a switch ? i know i should use a relay but i am in such a bad mood... my life f***ing sucks...

Sure you can do that. I would unplug the fuel pump relay so that the current wiring going to the fuel pump has no power at all. I actually have a hidden fuel pump switch, bypassed the OEM wiring.

so wait is the car even kicking the fuel pump relay or is it not even priming?if its priming its POSSIBLE that the fpr has died...I have seen it once before on a friends car.

and there is zero fuel pressure on any of the lines, i know its apower issue to the fuel pump i am damn near 100 percent cuz tghe car ran than it slowly died as t used the last of the fuel in the lines, i am just soo aggrevared i cannot think straight, i honestly want to just hard wire the fuel pump, but iddk which relay to buy ( i have tons here, and how to go about it) i saw deatschwerks makes a kit but i need to do this before i go back overseas, perferably tommorrow

Are you sure that your fuel pump hasn't died, but in fact you do have power? Have you tested the wires at the pump?

walbros are known to die when you first purchase them, but then seem to work ok after. it could be your fuel pump or a loose connection in your tank.

when people hardwire the fuel pump, they usually still use the factory relay to trigger the pump to keep it running like oem. instead of using the oem relay to give power to the pump, you use it to trigger your own relay. if you are looking for a relay, a 30A automotive relay is good.

well i got it running but it dosent want to idle and turns off, my afrs are around 10~11 ish and an odd problem i have is that i am running a z32 maf but when i select z32 maf from the afm section on my power fc it runs worse it perfers to see r33 any suggestions, also when i did my fuel pump, when i turn key to acc it stays on while there instead of normally just priming is this an issue i know it did not do this orgignally, i just wired the relay to take constant power when turned to acc, i did not use the oem relay because i was not sure which relay to use, the ecm one or the one from the passenger foot

just do the normal fuel pump relay wire upgrade.run a 8ga wire from the B+ terminal in the fuse box to the back of the car by the fuel pump, then cut the fuel pump power wire and have that as the trigger wire on the new relay and have the 8ga wire run to the other side of the relay, so this way you have your factory harness for the fuel pump switch the new relay on, and the 8ga wire will now be your fuel pump power wire. so this way you wont have any voltage drop at the fuel pump and you will be running 13.5v-14.5v (whatever your alternator put outs) at your fuel pump. and it should prime normally like it did before, but now you will be running more voltage to the fuel pump.
