Hey guys this is my first post but I've been lurking for a while. My motor will be here tomorrow and one of the last details I need to work out is my intercooler set up. I've done a bit of searching but have come up mostly empty handed.

I want to use the greddy intake manifold, but also the stock ecu for now, so I will be putting the MAF directly behind the intake before the turbo and then recirculate the BOV (as opposed to a blow through setup). Assuming this all makes sense, I have some questions.

Are there any 'kits' for doing this or am I going to have to make something custom? The only one I've found is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 192wt_1163, which I guess is the same as http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... Code=ICKNS the price and general lack of information kind of scares me away from it though. Could a SR20 or KA24DET kit be easily modified to fit?

If I do go custom, does it matter if the recirculating BOV is on the hot or cold side of the intercooler? The stock setup recirculates from the cold side to the intake between the MAF and the turbo. If I did this same setup with the greddy intake and FMIC and have the BOV on the cold side, do people just run a long piece of hose from the BOV to the turbo intake? What about other vacuum lines and the large 'air hose' coming out of the intake cold pipe on the stock set up?

Any other information on the subject would be awesome and I appreciate the help.

The best location for the BOV is on the cold pipe because it relieves the pressure wave created by the throttle body slamming shut and potentially blowing a coupler off the end of a pipe leaving you stranded. You can put the BOV on the hot pipe but beware that the intercooler and piping will see the pressure surge before the BOV vents it off. Placing it on the hot pipe, makes recirculating easier. I had mine on the cold pipe and ran a silicone hose over to the intake downstream of the MAF. If you want it, I'll sell it to you for $30 shipped. I am converting to MAP and don't need to recirc anymore.

Thanks for clearing up the BOV location for me. I'll hold off on the hose for now until I figure out exactly what I end up with. Anyone else have any experience with these kits?
