I'm running the stock throttle body, added an IACV, and we cannot get it to idle without surging once it warms up. If we tune the surging out, then the car won't start. Play with it til it starts, then it surges. With the old q45tb, it started and idled fine. With the stock TB, it just does not want to cooperate. We have tried setting the bIS screw, and adjusting the throttle stop to no result. The car is idling pig a** rich (10.8-11.0) and as soon as we try to pull out any fuel, it dies. I am using a new IACV from a 91 Nissan Sentra. My car has 272's and no a/c. Anyone?

BTW: no Robbie, no revolving idle, not yet haha

Thanks. The video is great and the guy def knows what he's doing. No matter how much I open the IACV, the car still acts like it isn't getting enough air to idle. Are you running the IACV and the other part (not sure what it's called) that mounts on the water tubes on the bottom of the intake manifold and gets a vac line from the IACV?

I think that valve is referred to as the "cold start valve". Maybe I need one.

Yeah I have both still on my motor, but I'm running 270 cams. Took me a while to get it to idle and not stall out when I would slow down from a stop.

Yea I have Kelford 272's in mine. The decel has always been fine. It just wants to idle surge. Maybe I need the cold start valve on there as well. What pins did you wire the cold start valve to? I only remember one set of pins for IACV on the AEM.

Don't know I had the stock ECU wired in not too long ago before I went to the AEM.
