Hi All,

I have an S14 with RB25DET Series I swap.

Greddy Intake ManiGreddy RS BovGreddy IntercoolerZ32 MAFStillen IntakeQ45 TBApexi PFCGP Sports 3" ExhaustMegan Racing DP

I swapped the engine in and got alot of the bugs out of it. I have been driving the car around alittle bit everyday for a few weeks and the engine felt & sounded great. Then one day hesitation started and felt like I lost all power. I pressed on the gas and the car felt like it was about to stall. So I took it home and I realized I never changed the spark plugs at all. So I put in some NGK plugs gapped to .08 and started her right up. Sounded great. Drove great again. This lasted about a week. Then I started her up again and I got the same exact problem. So I thought I knew what it was and changed all the coilpacks. Figured this must have been the problem. No avail....still having the same issue. Then I tried changing the ignitor and still same thing. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks.

Have you monitored your PFC hand controller to view your engine temps and other vitals?

Sounds like a bad sensor connection.

Were the plugs black? Change them again.

Car running rich? did you setup the PFC for your z32 maf right?

yes i monitor the PFC

these are values I've been getting:

engine temp @ idle ~77 Cengine temp on highway ~94 Cknock sensor levels normally around 20-40 range..sometimes weird and spikes to 70 when I'm not even giving much gas at allRPM at idle ~950

The old plugs I took out were really worn. Not black but a couple were brownish. I will check the plugs again.

I have set the PFC for Z32 MAF and the car isn't running rich.

Fuel pressure is stock....I don't have an adjustable apr. Actually...I don't get any black smoke. I had a brain fart...I'm gonna edit that.

I think your problem is 94c cruising.

Thats pretty damn hot! My car starts running like **** when it gets that hot.

Time to investigate cooling, there is a good thread posted around here about that stuff.
